The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce serves more than 800 businesses within the towns of Bethany Beach, Clarksville, Fenwick Island, Frankford, Millville, Ocean View, Roxana, Selbyville, and South Bethany. Our service area, called The Quiet Resorts, is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the inland bays in the southeastern corner of Sussex County; the largest of Delaware's three counties. With miles of pristine beaches, The Quiet Resorts offer an endless variety of year-round recreational activities. Although tourism is the primary industry, a balanced business climate prevails throughout the area.

Carrie Koster | Author of Lily Beth Saves the Animals

Carrie Koster is a Rehoboth Beach, Delaware author, speaker, and Family Memory Guide, and the author of the children's picture book Lily Beth Saves the Animals (Coastal Story Press). Written for ages 4 to 8 and illustrated by Julie Sneeden, the book follows a determined little girl who dreams of becoming a vet and decides she does not have to wait until she grows up to start helping animals. It is a warm, funny story about compassion, courage, and the big things kids can do when they stop waiting and start taking action.

The book is inspired by Carrie's own daughter Lily, whose love for animals showed up early and never stopped. Today Lily is in veterinary school. Lily Beth Saves the Animals is available on Amazon, at carriekoster.com, and at local Delaware shops.

When she is not writing, Carrie helps families notice, gather, and pass forward the stories that matter most through her work at the Delaware shore.
